We are offering up to 10 professional mastering sessions for black musicians during the month of June, paid for in full by Brave Wave. More details below.
We are shocked and appalled by the killing of African American citizen George Floyd by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. We strongly condemn police brutality, racism and the marginalization of the Black community.
Systemic racism and oppression are serious issues and have been fought by minorities without the vital support from the more privileged for far too long. We want to take a stand and do our part in supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement, not least by helping black musicians directly.
Brave Wave and the music of our artists would not exist today without the innovative work from Black musicians across many generations and genres.
Throughout the month of June Brave Wave will be offering up to 10 free, professional mastering sessions for Black musicians. A session can be booked for either a single track, an EP, or a full-length album of up to 14 tracks. The mastering will be done by Grant ‘Stemage’ Henry, founder and guitarist of both Metroid Metal and Brave Wave’s in-house band Super Strikers. If you’re interested please fill out the form below to get in touch.
We also ask our audience to join us in donating to non-profit organizations that are helping black people fight against oppression and racism.
